Do you have gluten free and vegan options?

Our menu is very much gluten free and vegan by design and almost all menu items are available according to your dietary preferences outside the most hectic rush hours. You can check the menu for dietary preferences and ask us for more details via Instagram or Facebook.

Do I need a reservation?

​

We have decided not to accept reservations in the restaurant in order to increase flexibility and serve more customers. We offer tables on a first come first served basis and always do our best to find everyone a table. In Töölö, we have a bookable private space for about 15 people. You can send us a booking request via email.

Do you provide take-away?

​

Take-away is possible for the whole menu, by calling the restaurant. We use biodegradable take-away bowls and cutlery wherever possible. Please ask separately if you need a straw or lid for your smoothie.

Do you have kids' chairs?

​

Yes, we do have one kids' chair available at both restaurants.

Where are you located?

​

Green Hippo Punavuori is located at Punavuorenkatu 2, on the square facing Fredrikinkatu. If you find yourself facing the Armenian Grill house on Punavuorenkatu, just walk towards Fredrikinkatu and turn right to find us. Green Hippo Kallio is located at Fleminginkatu 10 A 2, in the corner of the cozy Fleminginaukio. Green Hippo Töölö is located at Sandelsinkatu 2, next to Töölöntori. We are located between Alepa and Alko.

Are dogs allowed?

​

Well-behaving dogs are welcome.

Are strollers allowed inside?

​

Unfortunately, due to fire safety regulations strollers are not allowed inside the restaurants. You can bring the basket of the strollers inside, it will fit on our benches.

Do you provide catering?

​

Yes, we provide catering for small groups up to events for thousands of people. Please read more here.

​

Can you smoke on the terrace?

​

All our terraces are non-smoking areas. If you want to smoke, please use the benches on the square.

​

Can I use my laptop at the restaurant?

​

Please note that there is a laptop restriction in the restaurants Monday-Friday 11-14
and during the weekends.
